Our Parish
Our parish of Borrisokane is in the Cois Deirge pastoral area in the Diocese of Killaloe. We are joined in our pastoral area by our neighbouring parishes of Lorrha and Terryglass. Our pastoral area is currently served by Father Tom O’Halloran in Borrisokane and Father Michael Cooney in Terryglass. Recently, Fr Pat Deely has been appointed to assist in our pastoral area which consist of seven churches and eight primary schools. Borrisokane Community College serves the pastoral area.

The Diocese of Killaloe
The Diocese today comprises of 58 parishes with currently one third of parishes without a resident priest. The Cathedral Church and seat of the Bishop is located in Ennis, Co. Clare. The current Bishop of Killaloe, is Bishop Fintan Monaghan, holding the position since September 2016. The parish of Borrisokane is in the Cois Deirge pastoral area.
